Welcome to Origami Studio (the "App"), developed by Yosonia. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your device only using Android DataStore. This data is never sent to our servers or any third party:

2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
• Device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, advertising ID)
• Location data
• Analytics or usage tracking data
• Crash reports sent to our servers
• Any form of user account or login credentials

3. How We Use Information

All data stored by the App is used solely to provide and improve the in-app experience:

• Favorites & progress: To display your bookmarked tutorials and completed history within the App.
• Check-in streaks: To track your daily participation and grant streak-based rewards.
• Cached images & data: To reduce loading times and network usage on subsequent visits.
• Share function: To let you share origami images with people you choose. The App uses Android's built-in sharing system — you control who receives the shared content.

4. Third-Party Services

Origami Studio does not integrate any third-party services that collect user data, including:

• No analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics)
• No advertising networks or ad SDKs
• No social login providers
• No crash reporting services that send data to external servers
• No payment processors

4.1 Google Play Services

The App is distributed through Google Play Store. Google may collect device and usage data according to Google's Privacy Policy. This is outside our control and we do not access or use any data Google may collect.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share any user data with third parties. The only exception is when you actively use the share function:

• When you tap the share button, the App creates a temporary image file and passes it to Android's share system (Intent). You choose which app or contact receives the shared content. We do not see or record your sharing choices.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

All data stored by the App lives on your device only. You can delete it at any time:

• Clear app cache: Go to Android Settings → Apps → Origami Studio → Storage → Clear Cache. This removes cached images and tutorial data.
• Clear app data: Go to Android Settings → Apps → Origami Studio → Storage → Clear Data. This removes all local preferences (favorites, progress, check-in history) and cached content.
• Uninstall the app: Uninstalling Origami Studio removes all app data from your device permanently.

Since we do not collect or store any data on our servers, there is no server-side data to delete. Data deletion on your device is immediate and permanent.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• All local data is stored in the app's private storage directory, which is protected by Android's file system permissions. Other apps cannot access this data.
• Image caching uses the app's private cache directory, not shared external storage (on Android 10+).
• Network requests to load tutorial content use standard HTTPS encryption.
• No sensitive personal data is stored, so the risk of data exposure is minimal.

8. Children's Privacy

Origami Studio is a family-friendly origami tutorial app suitable for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect any personal data at all — no names, emails, identifiers, or location — it is inherently safe for children to use.

We do not require any registration, login, or personal information to use the App.

9. Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions:

10. International Users

Origami Studio is available worldwide. The App stores data locally on your device regardless of your location. No data is transferred across borders since no data leaves your device. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data protection laws (such as the EU's GDPR), rest assured that we do not collect or process any personal data that would fall under those regulations.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the policy on this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last updated.
